A Portrait That Gets the Curl Right
Poodles are not easy to capture. That coat has a mind of its own, whether it's clipped close, grown out, or somewhere in between. And under all that curl is a dog who's usually the smartest one in the room, standard, miniature, or toy. A custom poodle portrait is our way of putting that whole personality on the wall, not just the shape of a dog.
Made From Your Photos
You send us the pictures you already have, the ones on your phone from walks, groomer visits, or that one photo where they're looking at you like they know exactly what's going on. We work from those to build a portrait that looks like your poodle, not a generic version of the breed.
We ask for a few images so we can see the coat texture, the ear set, the exact color of those eyes. Poodles carry themselves with a certain elegance, and we want the portrait to hold onto that instead of flattening it out.
Good For
- A gift for someone who just brought home a poodle puppy
- Marking a big life moment, retirement, a new house, a milestone birthday, with a piece that includes the dog who's part of that life
- Remembering a poodle who's no longer with you, kept somewhere you'll see it often
- Something for yourself, because you live with this dog every day and deserve a version of them that isn't a phone screen
What to Expect
Choose your size and style, upload the photos, and add any notes about details you want kept, a favorite bandana, a particular haircut, the way one ear folds differently than the other. From there, we handle the rest and keep you updated as it comes together.
This isn't a print run. It's built around one dog, and it's meant to last well beyond a trend or a season.
A Small Note on Timing
Custom work takes time to get right, so we'd rather deliver something worth keeping than rush it out the door. If you're planning around a birthday, holiday, or gift date, give yourself a little cushion.
Poodles ask a lot of their people, walks, grooming, training, patience, and they give back a kind of loyalty that's hard to put into words. A portrait is one way to try anyway.
